Workshops where your child makes something real
30 short, live online workshops for ages 4 to 15: coding, robotics, art, speaking, maths and life skills. Each one ends with something your child made or can now do, and for 20 of them a kit of real materials arrives at your door first.
Short, live, and built around one thing they make
Not another class to keep up with. A few sessions, a real thing at the end, and a child who wants to show you.
Tuition follows the textbook
Weekly, for months, measured in marks. Important, but it rarely leaves a child with something to hold up and say “I made this”.
A course covers a syllabus
Many lessons, a lot of ground. Good for depth, and a big commitment before you know whether your child even likes the subject.
A workshop ends with something made
Two to six sessions, each one building towards a robot that steers, a game that plays, a speech on video or a pot on the shelf. The quickest way to find out what your child loves.
A live call where they do more than watch
This is session 2 of Scratch Game Design. Every workshop runs the same way, with its own work on the table.
- A coach, live
Not a recorded video. The coach teaches one idea, watches the children try it, and helps whoever is stuck.
- Children their own age
Batches are grouped by age, so a 6-year-old and a 13-year-old are not in the same chess session.
- Hands busy from minute one
Every session is mostly doing. Children hold work up to the camera or share their screen to get feedback.
- Something finished at the end
The last session is a show-and-tell: the game played, the speech given, the robot set loose.
30 workshops, each with a clear finish line
Filter by your child's age, or by whether a kit ships home. Every card says what your child leaves with.

See what's insideFrom reserving a seat to the show-and-tell
- Reserve a seat
Pick a workshop and leave your number, your child's age and a good time. Nothing is charged.
- guru.cool calls you
To confirm a batch time and the fee, and for kit workshops, where the kit should go.
- The kit arrives
Before session 1, with everything your child needs except what every home has, which the page lists.
- Live sessions, then show-and-tell
Your child joins from a laptop or tablet, and the last session ends with what they made.
Good first workshops for each age
Short, hands-on sessions with a parent nearby: sounds, beads, clay and kitchen science.
Old enough to build on their own. A first game, a first robot, a first real painting.
Real tools and real audiences: Python, a mock UN, a tiny business, a short film.
