Study Skills & Memory Techniques for ages 10–15
Most students study by re-reading, which feels productive and works poorly. This workshop teaches the methods learning science supports: testing yourself, spacing revision out, notes that make you think, and memory techniques for lists and facts. Every method is tried on a chapter from your child's own syllabus, so they leave with a system they can use the next day.

How 3 sessions get there
Each session is 60 minutes, live, and builds on the last. Your child is doing something for most of it.
Why re-reading fails and testing yourself works. Make flashcards for a real chapter and practise active recall.
Cornell notes and mind maps, tried on the same chapter. Learn to summarise a page in three lines.
A spaced revision timetable, focused 25-minute work blocks, and the memory palace for lists.
What's in the Study Toolkit
Everything your child needs for the sessions arrives in one box before session 1, and all of it is theirs to keep.
- Spaced-revision planner
- 300 ruled flashcards with a ring
- Four highlighters
- Cornell notes pad
- Desk timer
Live with a coach, hands on the kit
Here is session 2. The coach shows one idea, the children try it straight away with the kit, and they hold their work up to the camera for feedback.
