Money Smart for ages 8–14

Money habits form early, and school rarely teaches them. In three sessions your child learns the difference between needs and wants, splits pocket money into save, spend and share jars, compares prices like a smart shopper, and sees how saving grows over time. They leave with a savings goal and a plan to reach it.

Questions parents ask

About Money Smart

Do we have to give pocket money?
It helps, because real money makes the jars real. Without pocket money, children use the play money and gifts they receive.
Is this about investing in shares?
No. It covers saving, budgeting and how interest works, which are the foundations. Investing is a later step.
Who runs this workshop?
guru.cool runs it live online, with a coach and a batch of children of a similar age. Tuition.in lists the workshop and passes your seat request to guru.cool.
What happens after I reserve a seat?
guru.cool calls or messages you to confirm a batch time and the fee, and the address the kit should go to. Nothing is charged when you reserve.
When does the kit arrive, and can we keep it?
The Money Jar Kit ships to your door before session 1, and everything in it is your child's to keep.
