Spoken English Confidence for ages 6–12
Many children understand English well but freeze when they have to speak it. This workshop is about speaking, not grammar drills. In small groups your child practises the situations they actually face, from introducing themselves to asking for help and describing their day, and gets gentle correction as they go.
The confidence to introduce themselves, ask and answer questions, and hold a short conversation in English
How 5 sessions get there
Each session is 45 minutes, live, and builds on the last. Your child is doing something for most of it.
Introductions: name, school, family and favourite things, said in full sentences and then asked of a partner.
Who, what, where, when, why and how. A 'twenty questions' game played in English.
Talking about routines and the past: what happened yesterday, using the right tense.
Describe a picture, an object at home or a place, so others can guess what it is.
Short role-plays: at a shop, meeting a new classmate, asking a teacher for help.
