Rubik's Cube Solving for ages 7–14
Solving a Rubik's cube looks impossible, which is exactly why doing it feels so good. The beginner layer-by-layer method breaks it into seven steps, and each needs at most one short sequence of moves. Your child learns cube notation, the seven steps, and the habits that make a solve reliable rather than lucky.

How 3 sessions get there
Each session is 60 minutes, live, and builds on the last. Your child is doing something for most of it.
How the cube is built, move notation, and the white cross. Then the white corners with one short sequence.
Move edges into the second layer with left and right sequences. Two layers solved.
Yellow cross, yellow edges, corner positions and corner turns. Every child completes a full solve on camera.
What's in the Speed Cube Kit
Everything your child needs for the sessions arrives in one box before session 1, and all of it is theirs to keep.
- Smooth-turning 3x3 speed cube
- Cube stand
- Method card with all seven steps
- Notation sticker sheet
Live with a coach, hands on the kit
Here is session 2. The coach shows one idea, the children try it straight away with the kit, and they hold their work up to the camera for feedback.
What your family needs to know
You'll need
