Who this is for
Every student on the platform. This is the page that answers “where am I actually, and what should I do now?” Open it at /dashboard/student/learning-profile.

Overview

A progress bar reading 62% complete tells you how much of a course you have clicked through. It does not tell you whether you would pass. Those are different questions, and only one of them matters in an exam hall.

The Learning Genome is built the other way round. It reads what you have actually demonstrated — in brain scans, chapter quizzes, daily practice, mocks and written answers — and reports what you know rather than what you have opened. Nothing on this page is self-reported, and there is no field anywhere for you to grade yourself.

The split is deliberate: data on the left, advice on the right. You can act on the advice without reading the data, or ignore the advice and read the data yourself.

The Learning Twin

The headline. Your current standing across your subjects, and your predicted score — where you would land if you sat the exam today.

That number is the honest one, and it behaves differently from a completion bar: it moves when your demonstrated mastery moves, and it can go down if you stop practising and topics decay. A completion bar only ever goes up, which is precisely why it stops being informative.

The Knowledge Galaxy

Your syllabus drawn as a map rather than a list. Each topic is placed by how well you know it and how much it matters, so the shape of the picture carries the story — the dense bright cluster you have secured, and the dim region you have been avoiding.

Why a map instead of a sorted list
A list of forty topics sorted by percentage contains the same information and nobody reads past the first five. The map is legible in a second, and the thing you need to notice — a whole area with nothing in it — is the thing a list hides best.

Continue learning

The rail that removes the decision. It puts the next specific thing in front of you — the chapter you were halfway through, the practice set you abandoned, the mock you sat but never reviewed — so the distance between opening the dashboard and doing work is one tap.

Most study time is lost before any studying happens, in the deciding. This is the antidote to that.

Quick actions & daily goal

Shortcuts into the things you do most — practice, flashcards, a mock, your error book — alongside your daily goal and streak position, so the day's target is visible from the same screen that tells you where you stand.

The AI Coach

Down the right-hand side sits guidance rather than data: what the coach thinks you should do next, and why. The reasoning is stated on purpose — advice you cannot interrogate is advice you cannot sensibly disagree with, and you know things about your term that the platform does not.

Future You

A projection with two branches: if you carry on exactly as you are, this is where you land; if you change one specific thing, this is where you land instead.

It exists to make the cost of drift visible while there is still time to do something about it. A gap that looks small in September is the same gap that looks unbridgeable in February, and the only difference is how many weeks were spent not looking at it.

Upcoming risk

What is about to hurt you, in three flavours:

  • Decaying topics — things you knew and have not revisited.
  • Untouched high-weight chapters — material you have never opened that carries real marks.
  • Deadlines outpacing coverage — an exam approaching faster than your syllabus is closing.
Decay is the one most students miss
A topic you scored well on two months ago and have not touched since is not a topic you still know. Nothing else on the platform will tell you that, because everything else records that you passed it. This rail is where it surfaces — before the exam finds it for you.

The AI assistant

You can ask directly rather than only reading what you are shown — “why is my predicted score down?”, “what should I do this weekend?” — with your actual profile as context, so the answer is about you rather than about students in general.

Detailed mastery analytics

Below the main view sits the numbers behind the picture: per-topic mastery, how it was measured, and how it has moved. Most days you will not need it. When you disagree with the headline, this is where you check it.

How to read it honestly

  • A thin map means thin evidence, not low ability. If you have done little here, the page has little to go on and will say so rather than guess.
  • The predicted score is a model, not a result. Treat a movement of a few marks as noise and a sustained trend as real.
  • Empty regions matter more than low percentages. A topic at 40% is a known problem; a topic with no data is an unknown one, and unknowns are what ruin papers.

Common questions

Why is my predicted score lower than my school marks?
School marks include coursework and a paper set by people who taught you. This is modelled on the exam standard and across your whole syllabus, including the parts you have avoided.

I just started. Why is the map mostly empty?
Because it will not invent knowledge it has not seen. Take a brain scan — one sitting fills in most of the map.

My score dropped and I did not do anything wrong. Why?
That is usually decay: topics you have not revisited are weighted down over time. Check the Upcoming Risk rail — it will name them.

Does my tutor or parent see this?
Tutors see insight into students in their own courses, and a linked parent sees a parent dashboard. Your conversation with the AI coach is yours.

How often does it update?
Continuously. Finish a quiz or a mock and the map reflects it on your next visit.
