SSC CGL 2026 — Complete Tier 1 Preparation Course

The Combined Graduate Level examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission is the largest graduate-entry recruitment in the country, filling Group B and Group C posts across ministries, departments and organisations of the Government of India — Assistant Section Officer, Income Tax Inspector, Excise Inspector, Assistant Audit Officer and Sub-Inspector among them. This course covers the complete Tier 1 syllabus across all four sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. Tier 1 is 100 questions for 200 marks in 60 minutes, with 25 questions and 50 marks in each section, +2 for a correct answer and −0.5 for a wrong one. The 2026 cycle brings the single biggest change to this paper in years: Tier 1 is now sectionally time-locked, with a fixed 15 minutes for each of the four sections. Time saved in a strong section can no longer be carried into a weak one, and when a section's timer expires the screen moves on and you cannot return. That change rewards balanced preparation and punishes the common strategy of banking time on Reasoning and General Awareness to survive Quantitative Aptitude — and this course is built around it. Eligibility & who can join: • A bachelor's degree from a recognised university in any discipline. Some posts carry additional requirements — Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer, for instance, specify particular qualifications. • Age limits vary by post, commonly within an 18–32 band, with relaxations for OBC, SC/ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen candidates as per the official notification. • No prior coaching is assumed — the course builds each of the four sections from foundations. How the course is structured: The syllabus is taught section by section, exactly as the paper is now administered, with topics sequenced by their real previous-year question share. Because each section is capped at 15 minutes, practice is built around a per-section clock from the very first chapter test rather than only in the final mocks — the target is roughly 36 seconds per question in every section, including the calculation-heavy Quantitative Aptitude block. Each topic combines concept teaching, shortcut and approximation technique, and timed drills, followed by sectional papers and full-length Tier 1 mocks under the exact 15-minute lock.
