The Paris Agreement (2015) is about limiting climate change — holding global temperature rise well below 2°C. The Montreal Protocol (1987) is about protecting the ozone layer by phasing out ozone-depleting substances. They tackle different atmospheric problems, and CLAT deliberately offers one as a distractor for the other.

Chandrayaan missions explore the Moon, the Mars Orbiter Mission (Mangalyaan) studied Mars, and Aditya-L1 was launched to observe the Sun. Learning each flagship with its destination is the fastest way to lock in the match questions CLAT asks.

The IPCC assesses and synthesises the science of climate change to inform decision-makers; it does not negotiate. The COP — Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC — is where nations actually negotiate commitments each year. One judges the science; the other strikes the deals.
