Overview
You're probably already on Justdial, UrbanPro, Sulekha or Google Maps, and families who search your name see all of them. tuition.in isn't one more listing to keep up: it finds the ones you have, reads the rating each shows, and puts them side by side with what families tell you on tuition.in, so you can see where you look weakest and act there.
Finding your listings
- Find my listings searches the web for your name and city on the directories for your kind of institution: UrbanPro and Superprof for tutors, Shiksha and Collegedunia for colleges, Edustoke and Yellow Slate for schools, Justdial and Sulekha for everyone, and more.
- Results whose title names you appear under Is this you?, most reviewed first. Yes, ours adds it to the comparison; Not us hides it and it isn't suggested again.
- Missed one? Paste its link and press Add. Links from look-alike sites are refused.
- Finding runs at most once every ten minutes.
How a listing is read
Only listings you confirm are read, and lightly:
- What is read is the rating and review count the site publishes about your listing for search engines. Where the page can't be read, the stars the search result shows are used instead, and the row says "from search".
- A page is read when you confirm it, then at most every three days (Check now reads again, skipping anything read in the last hour).
- Never where the site's robots.txt asks robots not to; the row then says the site said no.
- No review text is kept, and every row links back to the site, where the reviews live.
The comparison
- At the top, the rating families see across the web: every rated site, tuition.in included, weighted by how many reviews each has.
- Each site on its own row, on one 1 to 5 scale with a line at 4 stars, because 68% of people use a business only if it has 4 stars or more (BrightLocal, 2026). A site under the line is marked with an icon.
- Its review count and when it was last read.
The comparison feeds the diagnosis: the "rating across the web" signal, and findings for your weakest listing, a rating that fell over three months, most of your reviews living on another site, and a strong rating worth putting on your posters.
Google Maps
Google's terms let us keep only the place's ID, so your Google rating, review count and latest reviews are fetched live each time you open the page and never stored. Choose your listing once: search by your name as it appears on Google Maps, and pick This is us. Only the owner can choose or change it.
Praise and criticism
Your tuition.in reviews and your complaint log are read for what they talk about: teaching, attention to each child, results, fees and value, facilities, transport, communication, safety and care, management and the office, and food. Each topic shows how often it is praised, how often criticised, and how many complaints mention it in the last 90 days. Open a topic for families' own words.
Reading is by sentence part, so "the fees are high but the campus is lovely" counts against fees and for the campus, and "not good" counts against. It is a published word list, not a guess, so the same review always reads the same way.
Your tuition.in reviews
Every review written about you on tuition.in in the last two years: your average, how many at each star, and the reviews themselves, which you can filter to the 4 and 5 star ones or those with 3 stars or fewer. Copy your review link gives the link to your reviews to share. (Reviews and ratings explains how families write them.)
Replying to reviews
Reply to reviews lists your tuition.in reviews, those not yet answered first. A reply shows under the review on your page, with the date; edit or delete it any time. For a review of 3 stars or fewer the reply box opens by itself: families read how a school answers a complaint as closely as the complaint. Thank them, say what you have done about it, and give a way to talk to you directly.
Asking for reviews
- Ask families for reviews sends one message (WhatsApp, SMS or email) with a link. On it the family chooses where to write: tuition.in, Google (once your Google listing is found) or another listing you have confirmed.
- Ask admitted families or current parents once, or switch on Ask every newly admitted family a set number of days after admission.
- Every family is asked the same way, and nobody is asked twice within six months. There is deliberately no way to ask only families you expect to be happy: that is "review gating", which Google forbids and which gets reviews removed.
- You see how many were asked, opened the link and went to write, and where. WhatsApp and SMS count in your monthly message limit, and only families who agreed to updates are asked.
Who can change what
Finding, confirming, adding and removing listings: the owner, or a team member who can change Admissions. Choosing the Google listing: the owner only. Anyone who can see the tab can read it.
Questions
A site shows no rating. Either it publishes none for search engines and the search result had no stars, or it has no reviews yet. It still counts as a place families find you.
Can we reply to Google reviews from here? Not yet. That needs Google Business Profile access, which is planned.
Finding found nothing. The search may not be switched on for this site yet, or the directories list you under another name. Add your listings by their links.
