Overview
Your letterhead, logo, signatures and seal are kept together and used by every print studio. A new document starts on your saved letterhead; each document keeps its own copy, so an issued circular still prints the letterhead it was issued on.
The letterhead
In any studio, open Letterhead. Choose Centred (logo left, name centred, the usual school letterhead), Left (contact details on the right), Image (the letterhead you already print), or Blank (space left for paper with the letterhead already printed). Your name, address and affiliation number are filled in from your profile. Save for everything makes it the default in every studio.
The image editor
Click Add beside any logo, signature or picture, then Upload and edit. Drop in a photograph or paste a screenshot. Crop it (free, square, circle, 4:3, 3:1 or 5:1), rotate it, straighten a photo taken at a slight angle, and Fit to content to shrink the crop to what is actually there. The preview shows it at the size it prints and says whether it will print sharp. Only the finished image is uploaded; the original photograph stays on your device.
A logo
Remove around it takes out the background connected to the edges and keeps the white inside the logo. Raise How much counts as background for a noisy JPEG; use Pick the background colour when the background is not white. Institutions can tick Also use it on ID cards, certificates and the profile page.
A signature or seal
Sign in dark ink on plain white paper and photograph it from straight above, in daylight. The editor keys on the darkness of the ink, so grey paper, uneven light and the paper inside the loops of the letters all go. The ink is printed in one colour of your choice: fountain-pen blue, ballpoint blue, black, or stamp violet for a seal. Empty edges are trimmed so the signature prints at full size over the line.
Your own printed letterhead
If your school already has a designed letterhead, photograph or scan the top of a letter, choose Letterhead banner, crop to the band at 5:1, and pick Image as the letterhead style.
