Why get verified?
Verification builds trust with students and parents who are choosing between tutors. Verified tutors:
- Display a Verified badge on their public profile and in search results.
- Rank higher in Tuition.in search results (verification is a positive ranking signal).
- Are eligible for the Featured Tutors placement on the homepage.
- Build significantly more student enquiries — verified profiles average 3× more contact requests.

FAQ
Can I resubmit if my application is rejected?
Yes. After a rejection you can upload new or corrected documents and resubmit from the Verification page. There's no limit on resubmissions.
Is verification required to teach on Tuition.in?
No. Verification is optional but strongly recommended. Unverified tutors can still create courses and accept bookings — they just don't display the Verified badge.
Does verification cover coaching centres?
Coaching centres and institutions have a separate verification process handled during onboarding. See the Institution onboarding guide.
Can I see the status of my review?
Yes — the current status is always visible at Dashboard → Verification.
