Mock interviews for a batch

The way a placement cell buys interview practice for a whole year: set one AI mock interview for a batch, and see where the batch stands on each thing the interview assesses.

Where to find it
Set Mock Interviews in your sidebar, at /dashboard/institution/interview-practice for an institute or /dashboard/tutor/interview-practice for a tutor.

Overview

Every student in the batch sits the same interview with the AI board — the same panel, the same order of questions, the same criteria — with questions drawn from their own form. You see who has sat it, each student's best result, and the batch's average on each criterion, with the weakest marked: the thing to teach next.

Setting one

  • The interview and round: any of the 75, from an IT services campus technical round to an Amazon phone screen or the UPSC Personality Test. Group discussions run in their own room and can't be set this way.
  • The batch: its active students get it. A student whose enrolment is still pending doesn't.
  • Attempts each, one to five. A student's best counts.
  • Due: a date, for your planning and theirs. Sittings after it still count; the student sees that it was due.
  • A name, if you want one: “Mock HR round before placements”.

Students are told straight away. Withdrawing an assignment removes it for students; sittings already done stay in their own reports.

What students see

It appears under Set for you above the AI board in their Interview room, with who set it, when it is due and how many attempts they have used. Sit it opens its board and round. These sittings don't use a student's own three AI interviews a day.

Results

  • How many have sat it, the average of each student's best, and the weakest criterion across the batch.
  • The batch on each criterion: the average of each student's best, out of 10.
  • Students: attempts, best, band, latest, and each criterion from their best sitting. Those who haven't sat it are listed as such.
  • Download CSV for a spreadsheet of the same table.

What you see, and don't

Scores only. What each student said in their interview — their answers, their form — stays private to them. The report a student reads is the full one; yours is the numbers.
