Women's Christian College

Women's Christian College (WCC), Chennai, established in 1915, is one of India's oldest and most distinguished autonomous women's colleges with a proud heritage of 108 years in women's empowerment and academic excellence. Founded by American missionaries, WCC has been a pioneer in women's education in South India, granted autonomous status in 1978 and consistently accredited with NAAC A+ grade. The college has been conferred the 'College with Potential for Excellence' status by UGC and has been ranked among the top women's colleges in India.
