Badal and Moti

About the Story

What it is about: Badal is a young boy who has a pet dog named Moti. Moti is not just a pet — he is Badal's BEST FRIEND. The story shows how they play together, care for each other, and share a special bond of loyalty and love.

The Story

Badal lived in a small village with his mother. One day, he found a little puppy on the road. The puppy was hungry and scared. Badal brought him home and named him MOTI.

Moti grew up to be a healthy and happy dog. He followed Badal everywhere — to the fields, to the river, and even to school! He waited outside the school gate till Badal came out.

One day, Badal fell sick. Moti did not leave his side. He stayed by Badal's bed day and night. When Badal got better, Moti wagged his tail with joy.

Badal's mother smiled and said, "A true friend stays with you in good times and bad times. Moti is a TRUE FRIEND."
