Part 2 — Neha's Alarm Clock
The Story
Neha is a little girl who LOVES to sleep. Every morning, her alarm clock rings at 6 o'clock — and she HATES it. She wishes the alarm clock would leave her alone.
The Alarm Clock's Journey:
- On Monday, the alarm clock falls to the floor and BREAKS. Neha is HAPPY — she thinks she can sleep longer now.
- But on Tuesday: the BIRDS outside her window wake her up at the same time!
- The birds fly away. Neha thinks: NOW I can sleep.
- But on Wednesday: the SUN shines brightly on her face and wakes her up.
- The sun hides behind clouds. Neha hopes for more sleep.
- But on Thursday: her MOTHER gently wakes her.
- Neha REALISES: something or someone will always wake her up at 6 o'clock. It's time to ACCEPT it — and her body has now LEARNT to wake up on its own.
What We Learn
- Our bodies have an INTERNAL CLOCK — once we get used to waking up at a certain time, we do it naturally
- Instead of fighting the morning, it's better to WAKE UP HAPPILY
- The world is full of natural 'alarm clocks' — birds, sunlight, family
