Every chapter, PYQ solution and sample paper on tuition.in goes through a five-step editorial process. Here's how we make sure what you read is correct, current and exam-aligned.

Our 5-step editorial process
Nothing is published until it's been through every step.
- 1
Source
We start with the official NCERT / board syllabus and the latest board exam paper. Nothing goes live without an official-source reference.
- 2
Subject-matter expert writes
A subject-matter expert with a relevant degree and 5+ years of teaching experience drafts the chapter. They aim for clarity over completeness.
- 3
Verified-tutor review
A second tutor — verified on tuition.in and actively teaching the same class — reads the draft, runs the worked examples, and flags mistakes.
- 4
Editorial polish
Our editor checks the prose, the formatting, the JSON-LD, and the page layout. Common-mistake and FAQ sections are written from real tutor sessions and Q&A community questions.
- 5
Publish & monitor
Once live, we monitor doubt threads and Q&A questions for that chapter. If the same confusion appears repeatedly, the chapter gets a revision pass.
Our editorial principles
The rules that shape every page.
Exam-pattern first
We optimise for what board examiners actually ask — not what a maths PhD finds interesting.
Active recall over passive reading
Every chapter ends with practice. Solutions are revealed on click, not handed to you.
Common-mistakes section
We document the errors that cost students marks. Metacognition beats raw drilling.
NCERT-aligned, board-flexible
NCERT is the spine; we add board-specific notes (CBSE, ICSE, state) only where they actually differ.
Plain Indian English
We write like a teacher talking to you in class. No corporate-textbook tone.
Every claim sourced
Numbers, dates, weightages — all sourced from the board's published documents.
Sources & corrections
Where our content comes from and how to flag a mistake.
📘 Primary sources
- NCERT textbooks & published exemplars (official)
- CBSE / ICSE / state board syllabus PDFs and sample papers
- JEE Main, JEE Advanced, NEET, UPSC official answer keys
- Tutor-contributed worked examples (verified by a second tutor before publish)
