Academic Programs:

The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and offers education from Class VI to Class XII. The curriculum includes seven periods of 40 minutes each, with daily three hours of compulsory preparation to help students concentrate on their studies. Unit tests are held quarterly, in addition to half-yearly and annual examinations. Students appear for the All India Secondary School Examination (10th) and All India Senior School Certificate Examination (12th) along with other CBSE-affiliated schools in India. The school is situated amidst pine and deodar forests in the heart of the 110 km² Chail Sanctuary at an altitude of 2,144 meters. Admission Process:

Admission to Class VI is through a Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Rashtriya Military School Chail. Students aged between 10-11 years appear for the CET, followed by interviews and medical examinations. The success rate is approximately 1% of the total applicants. Admission to Class IX is also through a Common Entrance Test conducted by the school. For Class XI, admission is based on marks secured in the X class. Reservations are as follows: 70% of seats are reserved for the wards of JCOs, OR in Army, Navy, and Air Force, including ex-servicemen; 30% of the seats are reserved for the wards of officers and for the wards of civilians. Additionally, 15% and 7.5% of the seats in each of these categories are reserved for SC and ST candidates, respectively.
